The Town of Apex offers tennis lessons seasonally for both youth and adults. Lessons are held at Apex Community Park or Pleasant Park. Other programs include Adult USTA Leagues and Ladders held at Apex Community Park and Apex Nature Park.

Tennis Summer Camp
This half day camp is for ages 5-14, Monday through Thursday from 9am-12:30pm each day (Friday will be used as a make-up day if needed). Campers will need to supply their own racquet, water bottle and snack. Sessions are limited to 15 participants per week. Each camp will be offered in two locations per week, either Apex Community Park (ACP) or Pleasant Park (PP).

Spring Tennis Ladder
Course #19182. Competitive ladder play for men and women. There will be two playing levels: 3.0 and 3.5-4.0. There will be singles ladders for men and women. Spring ladder begins in mid-March and will last nine weeks (depending on participation). Flexible scheduling allows players to arrange their own match times and locations. Individuals must be 18 years old by March 9, 2026.

USTA Men's & Women's Leagues
This program can only be registered through Western Wake Tennis site.
Competitive adult leagues year round - leagues include Adult, Mixed, Combo, Singles and Tri-Level. Also offered are WWTA winter leagues. Leagues are broken down by gender, age (18+, 40+, 55+, 65+) and NTRP level (2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5).

You must register as a team. To register a team, visit the WWTA website and scroll to the USTA Adult League section, or you can email the Tennis Organizers. Two teams per level will be taken. For age groups, levels offered and other details, click here. WWTA will assist you in finding a team if necessary (see the "Find A Team" section).
Cost
$185.00 per team for 5 court leagues and $155.00 for all others
- Each player must be a current USTA member and be 18 years old by December 31, 2025.
- Each player must pay a USTA fee online of $25.00 to register once a team has registered through the Western Wake Tennis Association website and has a valid team number.
