Volleyball (Spring)

Registration
Registration starts January 13, 2020 for Apex residents and January 27, 2020 for non-residents. Registration will be available online and in person at the Apex Community Center during normal business hours.
Already registered? Find information about player assessments and the season (PDF). Please note: only registered players who are not returning to last year’s team should attend the player assessments. Anyone on the waiting list should not attend.
About Youth Volleyball
All league practices and games will be at the Apex Community Center. Practices will be held one weeknight a week (Monday through Thursday), and games will take place on Saturdays. Practice begins the week of March 16 and the season will finish in June. Teams will consist of 10-12 players and play will be 6-on-6.
A participant’s age is based on their age on June 30, 2020.

- Major (ages 10-12)
- Junior (ages 13-14)
- Senior (ages 15-17)
Cost

Get Involved. Volunteer to Coach!
Knowledgeable volunteer coaches are the backbone and face of our youth athletic programs. They teach skills, provide leaderships, and lead practices and games throughout the season. League schedules vary, but most leagues have one practice each week and a game on Saturday.
All of our coaches are trained and certified through the National Youth Sports Coaches Association (NYSCA). All volunteers are required to complete a background check before participating in any practices or games. The Town of Apex follows guidelines suggested by the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) for denying applications to serve as a volunteer coach.
